Excitement is bubbling over at Touch of Love Outreach as our young people prepare for a special trip - they’re going to perform at the Edinburgh Festival! Yes, you read that right! Our Young Achievers will be taking the stage at one of the biggest and most exciting festivals in the country.

They’ve been counting down the days with big smiles and even recorded a shout-out video to share their joy. Their energy is high, their creativity is shining, and they can’t wait to show the world what they’ve been working on.

A Place Where Young People Feel Free to Be Themselves

Every week, our Young Achievers Club brings together young people ages 5 to 21 for fun, learning, and connection. It’s a safe space where they can relax, speak freely, and be themselves.

This upcoming performance is more than just a show - it’s a celebration of everything they’ve learned, created, and become. It’s a chance to be part of arts and culture, not just as viewers, but as performers sharing their voices with pride.

More Than a Trip - It’s a Cultural Adventure

Parents are just as excited. One parent shared how happy they were to see their child take part in something so meaningful, saying:

“It’s more than a performance. It’s a memory they’ll never forget. I love that they get to see other cultures, enjoy time together, and most of all - have fun!”

For many young people especially New Scots, this is a wonderful opportunity to bond, see new things, and discover how people from different places share their cultures through dance, music, costumes, and storytelling.

Why This Matters

Being part of a festival like this helps young people build confidence, teamwork, and a strong sense of identity. It shows them they belong in spaces where art, culture, and creativity are celebrated.

At TOL, we believe that young people deserve a place in the world of arts and culture. And this trip proves they’re not just ready - they’re excited to shine.

To our amazing Young Achievers - this is your moment. We’re so proud of you.

And to all our families, volunteers, and supporters, thank you for helping make this dream a reality. Your love, time, and belief in our young people is what makes this journey possible.

Keep your eyes on this space! We’ll be sharing updates as our young people take their talent and smiles all the way to the Edinburgh Festival.

A Heartfelt Thank You

We want to say a big thank you to the organisers and the entire team behind the Edinburgh Festival for creating this amazing opportunity. Your dedication to uplifting young voices and celebrating cultural expression means so much.

By opening this platform to our young people, you are not only helping them grow in confidence and creativity, but also reminding them that their stories, their energy, and their cultures truly matter.

Thank you for making room for young people to be seen, heard, and celebrated. We are deeply grateful.
